Education
I have been working in the digital space for over 30 years and graduated with an "Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership" from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. During my studies, I specialized in new technologies such as Machine Learning and Blockchain, specifically focusing on the Business implications of Artificial Intelligence thanks to Prof. Thomas Malone's course. My preparation also includes a technical background in Machine Learning, Generative AI, and MLOps with Prof. Andrew NG in Stanford's online courses and Deeplearning.ai
Publications
In 2022, well before the public release of ChatGPT, I published the book "Scrum in AI - Artificial Intelligence Agile Development with Scrum and MLOps, ' which includes a foreword by the co-author of Scrum and the Agile Manifesto, which states, "As Scrum has emerged from a melting pot of AI concepts, implementations, and companies, it is with great pleasure that I recommend reading this new book by one of the world's best Scrum Trainers, Paolo Sammicheli. Coaching
I help companies around the world by coaching teams in the development and adoption of Artificial Intelligence solutions. In 2023, I published a Case Study with Boehringer Ingelheim at the Pharmaceutical Management Science Global Summit in Barcelona with the title "From Proof of Concept to Production and Beyond for AI/NLP Solutions in Medical Affairs." GPTplane, a solution for Generative AI
As Product Owner, I curate the development of GPTplane, a solution for adopting Generative AI. In Italy, Siena's local public administration has adopted this platform to realize expert agents for citizen assistance. On the side, my talk in Italian, “Concrete Examples of the Use of Artificial Intelligence,” at the Digital Transformation in Public Administration conference at Santa Maria della Scala in Siena in October 2024. In the video, a demo of the implemented functions is conducted.
Open Source
I am a core contributor to the Cheshire Cat community, an open-source project developing a framework for building specialized agents with a Large Language Model.
In the community, in addition to publishing integration PoCs with Siri on iPhone and Mac platforms, I facilitate community meetings and outreach at conferences and events.
On the side, you can see the video of my Keynote in English at the Agile Forum Latam in Guatemala City in September 2024, in which I describe how Cheshire Cat can be used to adopt AI in the way of working of a Scrum team.
